What personal information is collected, and why?
List of primary categories of personal information we collect and why:
- Your name and address: So that we can tell Stripe your address for payment processing, so that we can put this on invoices, so that we can contact you if you owe money we have not been able to collect.
- Your email address: So that we can maintain a user account for you and contact you about important service changes.
- Your browser and network details: These are mostly collected incidentally in our system logs. Some of them could potentially allow identification of you via your username or IP.
When is personal information disclosed to third parties?
Personal information is never disclosed for a third-party's own commercial use.
We disclose information to Stripe so that they can process your payments and store a customer profile for you (which allows doing so).
We disclose your email address to Sparkpost so that we can send you mandatory service announcements.
We store your information on servers in the EU.
All of our vendors with a connection to the US comply with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework or with equivalent legislation.
When legally compelled, we will share information with law enforcement agencies.
Third-party contractors performing work for FillPDF Service may be granted permissions that allow them to see personal information. In this case, they would be bound by other agreements to keep such information secret. (As of at least 31 December 2010, FillPDF Service has not been worked on by any third-party contractors.)
Non-personal information for traffic and statistical analysis
We collect non-personally-identifiable information so that we can see how people are using our website (primarily Google Analytics).
Withdrawing your consent and deleting your information
Under the same terms, we can attempt to scrub our logs of your username and email while deleting your account.
However, your details will eventually disappear from our logs as older logs get automatically removed.
