How do I use this service?
FillPDF Service is currently intended for use with the Drupal CMS and the FillPDF module. Install and configure that module, fill in the field for your API key, and the module will transparently interface with the service when it needs to read or FillPDFs.

If you are unfamiliar with Drupal, we recommend checking out BuildAModule. We know the creator personally and can attest for the quality of the material. Click the banner to visit the site:

(If you sign up, we will receive a commission from BuildAModule. BuildAModule pays this to us, and it has no effect on you.)

Do you have a free plan or a demo?
If you want to see an example of FillPDF in action, check out the demo site.

We'll be adding a 60-day Trial plan ASAP. The previous free Explorer plan has been discontinued, so a Clipboard subscription is recommended for now. We plan to introduce a test mode with watermarked PDFs, and such calls will not use up your plan allowance.

How do I fill (stamp) images into my PDF?
Image stamping is covered in the Drupal module documentation. Follow the instructions there, and note the limitations. The same limitations apply to the service.

What level of email support comes with my subscription?
FillPDF Service is happy to answer any questions you have about FillPDF or FillPDF Service as long as it doesn't require access to your server or direct modification/configuration of your site. When email support begins to become consulting, this is when FillPDF Service may categorize your request as needing custom support.

In addition, any bugs or feature requests for the Drupal module should go to the Drupal issue queue. Being a subscriber is a plus if you would like to see something added to the module because a portion of subscription fees goes to supporting development of the module, and simply being a subscriber will often give your request higher priority (if it's reasonable).

I want personalized, custom support. Do you provide this?
You may need help setting up forms on your Drupal website, setting up the local JavaBridge method of filling in PDFs, troubleshooting, or similar help. It is best that you contact a Drupal developer for this. You will generally experience less wait time before your request can be fulfilled than you would if you contacted FillPDF Service.

When is my monthly usage for PDF merges reset?
Your monthly limit is reset when your billing cycle resets. You can see when that will next happen on your account page.

I need more merges than the available plans provide.
Email us and tell us what you need. If necessary, we will work out a custom plan for you. You won't be forced into anything you don't want.

How do I switch to a different plan?
Once you have subscribed, you can switch your plan from the pricing page.

When upgrading, you will be charged the price difference immediately, and your merge limit will be increased immediately.

When downgrading, the change will take effect upon your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing cycle; you will not be charged again.

What is your refund policy?
FillPDF Service currently offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. This applies from the time of initial subscription. If you are unable to complete your implementation or decide not to go with the service, please contact FillPDF Service. When you receive a refund, you will lose access to the service immediately.

After that time, billing is month-to-month, and you will always receive the full month you purchased, even if you cancel your subscription. When you cancel your subscription and your billing cycle ends, you will lose access to the service.

Note that this is governed by the FillPDF Service Terms of Service, and the text there will always take precedence.

Do I have to use the Drupal module to read and fill PDFs with the service?
It is possible to use it directly if a developer looks at the programming code in the Drupal module and adapts it to their needs. API calls are made over the XML-RPC protocol.

Do I have to subscribe to this service if I'm using the pdftk- or JavaBridge-based fill method in FillPDF?
No. This service is intended for people who don't want to or can't set up the necessary software to get those to work. The FillPDF module itself is free, just like other Drupal modules. It is only the service that costs if you choose to use it.

I still don't understand what this service does. What should I do?
This service is primarily aimed at Drupal developers using the FillPDF module. Try talking to your developer if you need help understanding the benefits of using it versus other alternatives.
